Online Dating is a bigger industry than the adult porn industry. Over 20 million people visit at least one online dating service a month. The chances of a couple meeting without some kind of tech faciliated solution, be it online dating or social dating with a app is dropping year on year. 91 million people around the world use dating apps and its become a common sight in bars, cafes and clubs. Its even more common for gay men, with 80% meeting their long-term partners online. Online dating has revolutionised the dating world and its going through another revolution. But is the short and long term effects known about, understood and even considered by the users?
 

A few paragraphs about you:

Ian is a well known and likeable character on the digital scene in the UK. He has now made Manchester his home, where he works at the BBC in Media City UK. Ian found himself after a tricky divorice thrown into a dating world which had changed to such a degree, he had to adapt and change with it. Having a slightly anthropological view on the world, he started taking note of the changes.
