Joe Harrison-Greaves will talk about the rise of the global ‘Slow’ movement which has seen “a worldwide movement… challenge the cult of speed” (Honore) in areas as diverse as food, business, medicine, city planning and education.
As a co-founder of the Slow Education movement Joe will go on to look at how the philosophy of Slow has been translated into the education sector and how a growing movement of schools and educators are finding innovative and inspiring ways to deepen learning experiences by slowing down.
